On Thursday December 12th the OPH Boys Basketball team traveled to Cisne to play.

This game started off well, and they were hitting their shots more than any other game this season, so far. The score was pretty close a lot of the game, with each team matching the others’ runs. The game went hand in hand and they tied it back up in the 4th just a few minutes to go. They ended up getting fouled, sending Riley Blank to the free throw line. He ended up knocking down both free throws to tie it up to force overtime.

In overtime it went back and forth as well, playing out a lot like the game had been in general. One team would score, then the other would tie it back up. Nearing the end, OPH was down by 1, fouling with seconds to go to send them to the line, making it a three point game and having to get a three to tie it, but ended up turning it over.

The score in the end was 53-50 with OPH on the losing end of this dogfight. They are starting the season off rough, but looking to bounce back Friday, December 13, against Dugger.
