On Tuesday, December 10, the OPH boys basketball team hosted Martinsville at Palestine Grade School. JV started at 6 and varsity followed. The boys were really eager to play Martinsville. They really hoped for a win. The game was so intense that many fans got threatened to be kicked out and some did. Coach Harry got a technical foul within the first 6 minutes of the game. OPH shot a lot of shots but most of them weren’t falling. Although they weren’t all going in, the boys did not get discouraged. They kept playing their game even when it seemed unfair. Unfortunately, the OPH boys basketball team did not win. A lot of people seem to believe that the referees were unfair and biased. While this may be true, the boys continued to play their hardest and tried not to let this affect their game. The OPH boys basketball team is now 0-5. The boys play at Hutsonville today, 12/11 against Dugger Union.
