On December 5th the OPH boys traveled to Vincennes to play Vincennes Rivet.
They fought well and had energy for the most part throughout the entirety of it, not giving up on small mishaps and making it up on the defensive side of the ball. Every now and then they wouldn’t rotate quickly or communicate to their spots on defense. Although there were a few mistakes, they worked hard throughout the whole game. Not a lot of their shots went in the basket, but that didn’t stop them from shooting or working hard.
The score was close throughout the whole game and the teams made each other work hard. The game was going back and forth and that’s what made it so intense. It came down to the buzzer after Riley Blank tied it with free throws. The other team got the ball and held it for the last shot, scoring a layup at the buzzer to make the final score 48-46.
The boys definitely played their hardest and wanted the win really badly, but they will use this experience to help with the future games.
