The OPH Girls’ Basketball team played their first basketball game Monday, November 18 and now already have their first win of the season.
The girls played Dugger Union at Dugger and won 42-34. Despite the fact that Dugger wasn’t able to outscore us, they still led in rebounds with 47 rebounds to our 20 rebounds.
The starters for the game were Emily Rachoy, Maggie Bailey, Genna Kidwell, Alayna Snider, and Jorie Webber. The head coach is Devin Turner, and he is being assisted by coaches Kurtis Plew and Ryan Kidwell.
During the game, Autumn Taylor got a knee injury after subbing into the game during the first 1st quarter.
This first game was a conference game, so the girls are now 1-0 in the conference.
