Deer hunting season is right around the corner and at Palestine High School, students are ready.
On Friday, November 22nd, students will be able to take a day off from school and hunt during school hours as long as they have their permission slip signed and turned in before the end of the day on Tuesday, November 19th. Everyone who plans to miss school to hunt must show clear proof of their deer tag. Students also should make sure that they have communicated with their teachers to make arrangements for any missed assignments.
If students follow all of the necessary steps to miss school Friday, the 22, they will be granted an excused absence.
