Homecoming has come and gone so fast, all of us are growing up and changing, while parents sit, holding in tears, as their kids’ childhoods pass quickly and they see them grow into young men and women. Homecoming coronation during halftime on Saturday was definitely one of those moments when moms tear up, watching their “babies” walk out onto the field.
This year, four senior couples comprised Homecoming Court: Devin Lawyer, Daylen Beckes, Shawn Divine, Natalie Yargus, Holden Sipes, Haylea Bachelor, Peyton Pittenger, and Adriana Taylor.
Their attendants were a couple from each of the other three classes. The freshman class attendants were Elijah Beckes and Brylee Krick. Sophomore attendants were Kinsler Beabout and Raylynn Rodgers. Junior attendants were Owen Griffin and Julia Kovacs. Kindergarten attendants this year were Porter Wagoner and Landry Inboden.
Our king and queen this year were Devin Lawyer and Daylen Beckes. The queen was crowned by our previous queen, Zoey Beabout. As last year’s king, Aiden Piper, was unable to attend, this year’s king was crowned by Megan Burton, the PHS alum for whom the “pink out” theme was organized this year.
