The Pal-Hut football team played their homecoming game which was also their last game of the season. Unfortunately they took a loss to St. Thomas More. The final score was 46-0. It was a challenging year with first year being 8 man, injuries, and a new coaching staff. A lot of people came to support the game especially with it being the Homecoming game.
Team captain Peyton Pittenger was asked about the game and what went wrong. Peyton said the defense was a big problem not only for this game but the whole season. In the beginning of the game we received the kick from St.Thomas More, and on the first play of the opening drive we threw an interception. Throwing the interception brought the team’s morale down, and we never were able to recover, which in result led to us losing the game.
Peyton Pittenger said, “This was our first season as an 8 man team, and I was glad to be a part of it. The coaching staff was great and I’m excited to see how it goes in the years to come.”
Because it was the last home game, seniors Peyton Pittenger (Football) and Adriana Taylor (Cheer) and their parents were recognized before the game.
