This week’s Sophomore Spotlight is Daylon Nantz. Homecoming is Daylon’s favorite part of school. “I love the dress up days and the excitement,” he said.

Daylon doesn’t do any clubs or activities, but he is a HPHS basketball cheerleader. In his free time he likes to watch Netflix. His plan for the future is to become a registered nurse in the Evansville/Owensboro area. Daylon’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Parsons.  He said, “She is so sweet and always has a smile on her face.” His favorite subject is English II.

Daylon said, “My advice for the freshmen would be not to stress because high school really is not hard. You just have to pay attention.”
