Our school Palestine High School held a canned food drive during our Homecoming week.
Each class was challenged to collect more canned food than the other classes. Overall, Palestine High Students students collected 975 cans.
All of these cans are going towards those that need them, as the cans were donated to the Palestine Food Bank.
The senior class collected the most with 547 cans, and the juniors were in second, the sophomores were in third, and finally, the freshmen were in fourth.
This was a great competition because it made everyone pitch in to earn more points towards the class race for Homecoming week. This was very eventful and exciting because it came down to the wire between the seniors and the juniors and students had to wait until the last second to find out who won in the competition.
