On Monday, October 21, at 5:30 pm, at the Fife Opera House, the Palestine Preservation Projects Society will be having a dinner meeting featuring guest speaker Marsha Miller who will be discussing woman suffrage. Palestine High School students are invited to attend the meeting, which includes dinner, for free.
Students who wish to attend should call 618-586-9418 to make a reservation in advance. Students’ admission is free, but for others, the cost is $15, which includes dinner.
The dinner is at 5:30 pm and the program is afterwards at 6:30 pm. The evening meal will include chicken and noodles, baked steak in gravy, mashed potatoes, corn casserole, a 7-layer salad, hot rolls, and a variety of pies. Beverages will include tea, coffee, and water.
