This week’s freshman spotlight is Makinley Bonesteel. Makinley was nervous for high school at first but after the first couple of days she wasn’t nervous anymore. Makinley plays softball and does football cheer and tumbling. She is in Drama Club, Pay it Forward, and Student Senate. She says, “I enjoy Drama Club because being involved with the plays and Haunted House is super fun.” She says, “High school is a lot better than grade school. Classes are better, and the day goes by faster.” In Makinley’s freetime she likes to hang out with her friends. Makinley’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Hyde. She says, “Mrs. Hyde is my favorite because she is laid back, and has a sense of humor with us students.” Her favorite subject is art! She says, “I enjoy art because it gives me the chance to be creative.”
