It’s that time of year for the Wine & Arts festival to pop up in Palestine and this year it will be on Oct. 5 and 6 on Main street. With the festival also comes other activities, and these activities include –
Oct. 5
- The 5K run/walk at the Crawford County Forest Preserve at 8:00 AM
- The Heath Harvest Festival in Robinson, IL
- Mullet Over band at the Palestine Pavilion at 1:30-4:30 PM
- PHS Alumi After Party at the PHS Gym 6:00-9:00 PM
Oct. 6
- The Crawford County Collectibles CRUISE-IN on Main Street 1:00-4:00 PM
- Shelby Jones at the Palestine Pavilion at 12:30-2:00 PM and 3:00-4:30 PM
If you love wine, cars, music, food, and vendors, there will be plenty coming October 5 and 6. All wine tasting participants must be 21 years old and will need to show a photo ID when purchasing a glass. The pickup and purchase location will be at the Fife Opera House, which is located at 123 S Main Street in Palestine. The Village Hall will have handicapped parking and bathrooms. Last but not least, ONLY authorized service animals are allowed in the festival area.
