This weekend is the Wings by the Wabash Airshow at the airport here in Robinson, Illinois. It’s going on both Saturday and Sunday, the 28th and 29th. The time is from 9 am till 5 pm both days.

This is a really fun experience to go to and see every year. From seeing the different aircraft, to going on a helicopter ride, there’s something for everyone. You don’t have to be involved or think planes are really cool to have a good time. Also you don’t have to be fascinated or engaged with aircraft; you’ll learn about some aeronautical history and a few things about some local flying lore you didn’t know before.

In addition to seeing airplanes and flying performances, visitors will also be able sample from a variety of food trucks that will be onsite.

So bring your parents or friends, or any loved ones with you to experience the airshow to the fullest.   It will be one of those memories you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
