Senior Spotlight: Brendyn Piper
December 4, 2018
Brendyn Piper is a funny and hard-working senior at Palestine High School. He is involved in Math Team and Envirothon and is the senior class treasurer. His senior year has been pretty good and even better than last year. He is excited to start life after high school, and his wit and ability to solve problems as well as his “motivation by failure” will help him succeed.
After leaving high school, Brendyn said he will miss seeing his friends and his favorite teachers. He advises freshman, “It’s not that bad, and there is a lot more freedom. It’s a lot better than grade school.” Brendyn’s greatest high school accomplishment was single handedly beating all of Hutsonville’s teams as an alternate in Envirothon. The funniest thing that has happened to him in school was when he tipped the gym lockers over by pulling his pants that were stuck, which almost fell on Chase Lawhorn and him.
After graduating, Brendyn plans to go to college and take a Fire Science course to lead him toward joining an EMT program to obtain an EMT license. After this, he intends to become a firefighter after volunteering for a local fire department. He is most excited to have a family of his own and a job that he enjoys and looks forward to everyday!
