The Pal-Hut girls volleyball team played against the Lawernceville Indians on Tuesday, September 10. The girls JV game went to three sets. The Pal-Hut girls won the first set 25-18 and then lost the next two sets 13-25 and 10-15.
The girls varsity game was only two sets; they lost both of them with the scores being 20-25 and 22-25. The team struggled on their spikes the most, especially keeping them in bounds. The team did pretty well on their serves and their communication was good, but overall they were just outplayed.
We did well for a good while on defense but late in the game we let up and our mistakes outweighed our good plays. We did not play badly whatsoever though; they just outplayed us in some of the sets. We stay with them though, through each of the sets for both games.
