On Friday, September 6, the boys OPH golf teamed traveled to Richland County Club for the second time that week. They competed against the Effingham Bulldogs (St. Anthony), Olney Tigers (Richland County), Lawrenceville Indians, Teutopolis Wooden Shoes, Mt. Carmel Golden Aces, Teutopolis 2 Wooden Shoes, Newton Eagles, Carmi (C.-White County) Bulldogs, Litchfield Panthers, Flora Wolves, Fairfield Mules, Robinson Maroons, Marshall Lions, Cisne Lions, and Louisville(North Clay) Cardinal-Indians.

The boys finished in 10th place out of the 16 teams. They truly played their best even though it didn’t end the way they wanted. Coach Phil Blank said, “Not our best day of golf, but I feel that as if this tough day will help us down the road.”
