We’ve seen Mr. Plew’s point of view regarding the questions I asked, but what about the other new teacher, Ms. Yager? 

Ms. Yager had taught middle school before she came to PHS, so she was scared for her first school year as a high school teacher.

She doesn’t plan on working at any other schools. Even if she did, she doesn’t know where else she would work. 

Her first impression of the school and students was the first day, which went great. Everyone was nice to her.

She plans to get AP science classes set up for students who wish to take harder science classes.

She loves science! She enjoys all forms of science, which makes sense since she is a science teacher.

She has never wanted to teach any other subject. She always wanted to teach science. Science means a lot to her because her grandmother taught the same subject. Her grandmother’s classroom was her favorite place.

Ms. Yager taught seventh and eighth grade at Red Hill middle school before she became a high school teacher.

When it comes to hobbies, she enjoys hiking and camping. She also enjoys musicals.

Ms. Yager’s favorite food is ice cream. She loves all flavors of ice cream! Doesn’t matter the flavor as long as she gets to enjoy ice cream!
