After my freshman year in Robinson, I decided to transfer to Palestine. Little did I know that these past three years would fly by so fast.
After a very tough freshman year, me and my parents decided I needed to transfer over here to be able to get the opportunities I was lacking. I was so scared to go to school over here even though I knew so many people already. It was the thought of trying to fit and get involved without being annoying. But little did I know that sophomore year would lead to the best three years of my life.
I quickly started getting involved in things throughout the school such as Drama Club, Pay it Forward, basketball, and softball. I got super close with Charlie, Aubree,Morgan, and Daylen right out of the gate because they helped me find my classes and told me all about Palestine High School. Sophomore year was probably my favorite out of all three of my years here.
Junior year came around and I got super close with Michaela to the point you wouldn’t see one without the other ANYWHERE. We sat next to each other in most of our classes. We may or may not have gotten in trouble quite a bit for talking… especially in Mrs. Hyde’s class… Sorry, Mrs. Hyde!! Other than that junior year was honestly a blur and I don’t remember very much.
Then it was time for senior year. At the beginning of the year I would think about graduation and I would get super sad about the fact that it was my last year with all of these people that I got so close with. With so many lasts that came out of this year, it all flew by way to fast. Between the last Homecoming, Winter Ball, and Prom, to senior nights, to graduation we have made so many memories that will be with us for the rest of our lives.
Thank you Palestine High School for making my high school experience the best it could’ve been!
