How has being on the Staff of Pioneer Pages impacted you?
I have been impacted by being on the staff of Pioneer Pages in many ways. One is allowing me to share my passion for writing more often than just in English. Two: getting practice in writing articles for my future job.
What advice do you have for upcoming Journalism students?
Take it seriously. Don’t goof off. Take this class knowing that you can write about what you love, enjoy, and are passionate about. It is not as awful as people make it out to be. It is interesting and honestly fun.
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory is meeting my best friend sophomore year. Shortly after moving to PHS, my sophomore year, I was sitting in PE just listening to music, that I got to control, and trying to get through my second to last period of the day. I played a song, In My Mind by Lyn Lapid, and as it ended Dannika Fulling introduced herself to me, and the rest is history.
What do you plan to do after high school?
After high school, I plan to attend Vincennes University through their Graphic Design Occupational Photography program and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I will attend VU for two years before graduating with my Associates in Graphic Design Photography and a certificate in Graphic Design.
