Do you love watching The Voice as much as I do? The 25th season of the voice made its airing debut on February 26th on NBC. This season looks a little different than season 24. The biggest change is that my favorite and fan favorite Niall Horan is no longer a judge. My thought is since Niall was the winning coach for the last two seasons, maybe the producers wanted to give someone else a chance to win. This year, coaches are John Legend, Reba McEntire, Chance the rapper, and the first ever duo Dan + Shay.
The season 25 winner will have big shoes to fill. Huntley, winner of season 24 had a voice that America loved. If you aren’t familiar with The Voice, the show starts off with blind auditions. This means that a performer goes on stage and sings while the judges have their chairs turned with their backs facing the singer. If the judge likes what they hear, they can turn their chair. Once at least one judge has turned, the performer is in. If more than one chair turns, then the singer will have to choose whose team they want to be on. After the blinds, the singers will go through battles and knockouts against the other members of their team. Then the judge must choose who they want to stay.
If you have never watched The Voice, I recommend starting! You will definitely be entertained, and maybe get to listen to the next big star in music.
