Hut/Pal Tigers vs. Armstrong Trojans
It was the Hutsonville-Palestine Tigers’ first game of the season on Monday night against the Armstrong Trojans at Oakland, and it was a close one. Both teams played very good offense and defense, making it a tough battle. Although some of the calls didn’t go the Tigers’ way, and there seemed to be some favoritism for the Trojans, our boys played hard and continued to work diligently to earn the win. The Tigers took a victory win against the Trojans, 49-45.
The Tigers have been working very hard throughout the summer and the school year by having many open gyms and numerous practices Monday through Saturday. Coach Ray, along with the assistant coaches, have worked very hard with the boys thus far, and is very excited to see what this season brings. Coach Ray is determined to allow the cheerleaders and fans to be as involved with the team as they can, while making sure this year is a fun and exciting experience.
