This year, the PHS Drama Club is performing The Little Mermaid for their spring play. While it is not the Disney version that we are all familiar with,  the play will include some original music composed by cast members to accompany words in the play.

There will be two performances at the end of April where you can see this cast perform!

April 20th at 7:00pm and April 21st at 2:00pm

With a cast of 16, the PHS Drama Club announced their cast list Monday, February 5th, 2024. The actors that you will see in this play are:

Autumn Taylor as the Green Dolphin

Ahlya Abel as the Vague Mermaid and the Sea Witch

Michaela Fuller as the Lofty Mermaid

Chris Dunlap as the Round Sailor and a tree

Cydney Pethtel as the Tall Sailor and a tree

Devin Lawyer as the Prince

Addi McNair as the Seashell Girl and the Little Toady

Alix Bennett as the Big Toady

Morgan Knoblett and Mackenzie McDaniel as Trees

Hannah Nethery as the Page

and Sienna Freeman as the Fish

This cast has worked hard already practicing lines and creating tunes for our songs! Please put April 20th and 21st on your calendar and come and see this wonderful cast preform!

For some this is the last play they will participate in at PHS. We have many seniors in this production including, Zoey Rinesmith, Ahlya Abel, Michaela Fuller, Addi McNair, Cydney Pethtel, and Morgan Knoblett. This will be the last performance for these girls and the PHS Drama Club is for sure going to miss them.
