On Friday, November 9, Hutsonville High School hosted Meet the Tigers for the upcoming HPHS boy’s basketball season. All winter sports, including girl’s basketball and boy’s basketball cheer, were also announced.

During the eventful night, the boy’s basketball team held a 3 point contest, a free throw contest, played three 10 minute running quarters of scrimmage, individually introduced players, and showed off the new and exciting pre-game warm up routine!

The pre-game warm up routine is intended for fans to be loud and cheer on the players. The routine will include a spotlight show, music, glowsticks for fans, and extra spirit items provided by the cheerleaders. Coach Ray is very enthused to have such a wonderful group of kids on the team, with the support of the cheerleaders, families, and the fans. “Go crazy folks, go crazy,” he says.

The first games are the week of November 19 for the Turkey Tournament at Oakland at 5 pm. Reminder for players and cheerleaders: Tuesday, November 20, HHS will be hosting a team feed at 2:20 PM.
