PHS student Lilly Bedwell doesn’t participate in extracurricular activities or traditional school sports as many of her peers do. Rather, she finds happiness in the fascinating world of books. Lilly enjoys reading a lot and immerses herself in many genres. Lilly looks forward to Christmas every year. She is excited about the cold weather because it makes the season feel cozy and appealing, not simply the festive holiday vibe. Lilly enjoys watching movies a lot, and “Five Feet Apart” is her all-time favorite. She finds a lot of meaning in this movie since it centers on a main character who is willing to put his life in danger to be with the one he loves. Lilly finds the movie to be particularly captivating due to its intriguing plot and the connection between the actors, which sets it apart from her other favorite movies. For Lilly, making the switch to high school was an unexpected experience. Her previous school’s environment and dynamics are very different from PHS’s, forcing her to adjust to a whole new social environment. Lilly has had to adjust to and welcome every aspect that comes with high school because of the differences between her previous and current learning environments.
