Alyssa Tipton, a freshman this year at PHS, is involved in track, basketball, and volleyball.

Her volleyball season just ended and they ended their season 16-17. Girls basketball season has started and their first game is on Monday.  Track will be starting in February and going through May.

Alyssa was looking forward to high school, but was a little scared of what it would be like. People have a pre-assumption of what high school is going to be like; most people think it is going to be hard and not enjoyable. PHS is the opposite of that. Everyone is very close and school days are full of fun.

Her favorite movie is Mean Girls because of the plot and the characters playing in the movie.  Alyssa was surprised when she got to high school because she says it is easier than middle school. Going from grade school to high school is not much of a change, but it is different. She was excited to finally be in this school and be able to see her friends.
