James Patterson’s book “Cradle and All” was released in 2000.
The main story of this thriller centers on two very unexpected pregnancies that occur together. One of them involves a little child named Anne Fitzroy, who claims to be a virgin and who many people believe to be carrying the second coming of Christ.
Kathleen Beavier, a nun, becomes pregnant despite her religious beliefs. This is the other pregnancy. Father Justin O’Carroll, a former priest, is assigned to look into these pregnancies to see if they are a result of a diabolical plan or a miracle, a work of god.
The novel tells such a fascinating and thought-provoking tale by combining parts of mystery, religion, and the paranormal. Similar to many other books by James Patterson, “Cradle and All,” has become known for its gripping narrative and very fascinating storytelling. Not to mention, the way the world appears to be closing in on people like Kathleen, it is kind of like the way things have been with COVID-19.
I would definitely suggest this book to anyone who enjoys a good thriller and can handle difficult topics like a few in this book!
