On Monday, the Lady Tigers had a volleyball game in Robinson against the Robinson Maroons.
The JV team had a great match, winning both sets. In the first set, the Lady Tigers came out victorious, winning 26-24, and the second set resulted the same way with a 25-22 win.
The Varsity Lady Tigers had a very good first set that ended in a close game they lost 21-25. Coming into the second set, they had a rough start and were losing 0-12. Eventually the Lady Tigers got into their groove and came back, but sadly they lost 11-25 to the Lady Maroons.
The Lady Tigers had great support at the match as a small group of students from both Palestine High School and Hutsonville High School showed up to cheer them on. They came ready to get loud for the girls and their enthusiasm helped the players stay motivated during the entire match.
Lady Tigers senior Morgan Knoblett stated that she had a great time at this game because the student section is what made it even more exciting.
The Lady Tigers’ next game is Tuesday the 12th, at Casey, where they will be playing against the Warriors. That game starts at 6:15 at the Casey West-field High School, with the JV team playing first and the Varsity match following.
I think there are going to be a lot of great upcoming games for these ladies! Wishing them the best of luck for their future matches! Bring your support and make it to one of their games to get loud and proud!
