On Tuesday September 6th, our Lady Tigers played the Lawrenceville Lady Indians. Both the jv and the varsity took the games with a win in 3 sets.
In the first set of the varsity game, the teams were neck and neck for the entire game, but the Lady Tigers ended up winning. In the second set, they played a very intense game. The girls played over 25 points in the second set, but they ended up losing. To end the night off, our Lady Tigers won the third set, winning the whole game. All of the varsity girls played an amazing game. Hayden Monan, a freshman from Hutsonville, had some amazing blocks in the varsity game. Alaina Holcomb, a senior from Hutsonville, had some amazing spikes that the Lawrenceville girls couldn’t pick up.
The student section on Tuesday was very supportive of our volleyball girls. The theme for the game was Barbie. All the students showed up dressed head to toe in pink and had pink paint on their faces. They cheered the girls on the whole night and eventually to victory.
