In a town with what seems like not much to do, if you look a little closer you just might find a little something.
The Palestine Public Library District holds a lot of fun activities over the summer, and through the school year for all ages. From children’s reading groups, to adult crochet classes and yoga, the library has quite a bit to choose from.
One of the more consistent activities is the Yin Yoga classes. They frequently meet at 7:30 – 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, and at 6:15 – 7:30 pm on Thursday. So if you’re looking for a little light physical exercise mixed with some relaxation, this is an activity you won’t want to miss out on!
For the younger ones, Lil’ Ones Story Hour will start back up this Tuesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. They will have things such as stories, crafts, playtime, and snacks. This is for ages from birth to PreK. So if you have a little one this would be a good fun activity for them.
To keep up with the Library’s activities just go to their Facebook page where they always have updates. Of course you could always stop by. They’re always happy to see everyone.
