Super Secret Senior Scandal

Nice stranger

Seniors who traveled in front of the arch

Alivia Beabout, Editor

Some may have noticed that some of the seniors have been hush hush, roaming the halls whispering to each other for the past few weeks now. Well, the secret is out, our seniors took a “mental health day” to travel to St. Louis, Missouri to watch the Cardinals play the Pirates at Busch Stadium.

This trip was filled with so many core memories that they will cherish forever and it will go down in Palestine High School’s history as the first “get away” senior skip day. Now, some may say this wasn’t fair to skip school to be there but in all, this was an informational and educational trip where they learned about the arch, how to drive in a busy city and on an interstate and learning about the many smells of St. Louis.

Although the Cardinals lost (0-5) which is a joy to some but a disappointment to most, they had a great time bonding as a class and making new memories together. They even got recognized on the Jumbotron where they were asked where we were from and what each of their future plans are, as well as being noticed as the smallest graduating class the interviewer had ever seen, and if that doesn’t scream Palestine High School, I don’ know what does. The night was filled with good laughs and good food, just ask Elliott Meadows.

Finally, the night ended with only 1 hard break and a nose bleed.
