Senior Blitz

Wednesday, April 12th Seniors from Palestine, Hutsonville, Oblong, Robinson, and Martinsville attended the LTC hosted Senior Blitz. Senior Blitz is an annual event held by LTC for seniors to take the day off while also taking a look at what their local community college has to offer.
Students were able to spend most of their time outdoors soaking up the sun while playing games or just enjoying each other’s company. Lunch was provided to students by a few local food trucks. (How fun?!) In the auditorium, students battled against each other in an LTC-themed Kahoot for the chance to win $100 or $50 gift card to the LTC Bookstore. Props to Dannika and Chance for taking home both 1st and 2nd place!
Along with all the fun, LTC had booths set up for students to see what kind of programs and clubs are offered. A student panel made up of LTC students was able to give seniors a little bit of insight on their experiences at LTC and answer any additional questions.
Senior Blitz is such a great event that local seniors get to take part in. Fun was had by all and we would like to thank LTC for all that they have done.
