Natalie Yargus, sophomore, had the opportunity to go to EIU this Thursday to compete in the ACES Sectionals Competition. Natalie took an unusual route to get to the Sectionals Competition.

At the regional level in Olney, Natalie was supposed to test in the English category, but she was given a Physics exam on accident and excelled in it! She ended up testing the best at Olney and had the opportunity to go compete at Eastern. Diamond Barnbrook also accompanied her as moral support for the big test.

While Natalie won’t be moving on to the state level, she did a wonderful job representing our school and even got to tour the campus! We’re proud of Natalie for doing well, even if it technically was an accident.
