OPH Boys Basketball, Tuesday Night

Tuesday night our OPH boys basketball team played in Hutsonville against North Central. Sadly, they had a tough loss but if some of you were there, the game might not have been very fair. With some unfair referees, and not having the normal coach you are used to, it’s a tough game to play. By the end of the night the final score was 43-51. These boys played their hardest despite the circumstances. Also by the end of the night the fouls were nearly 12-6, and if you know basketball you know that our boys were either playing dirty or the refs were not the best (and I think we all know that it’s the second circumstance).
This game just also happened to be Hutsonville’s Homecoming game and if you are wondering. Donnie Hayes won homecoming king and Gwen Lathrop won homecoming queen. Congratulations to these two– they were both beautiful and they were well deserving. Hutsonville is going to be having their dance Saturday night at 7 pm, so stay tuned for all of the beautiful Facebook and Instagram posts of all of the beautiful couples.
