Mrs. Parsons is Back!

Mrs. Parsons working away

Alysa Kennedy, Editor

Mrs. Parsons has been working at the high school as a paraprofessional since 2016. She has filled many roles here in the high school, so she is a friendly face to many of the students here. At the start of the year, students were bummed to find out Mrs. Parsons would not be starting off the year here. She spent the first quarter as a student teacher in special education in the junior high wing of the grade school. She has now returned to the high school and will be working in Mrs. Benton’s classroom. As of now, she will be Mrs. Benton’s student teacher.  Mrs. Parsons will be observing Mrs. Benton’s teaching techniques, and after a few weeks she will take over teaching Mrs. Benton’s classes.

Mrs. Parsons has been known for her generosity and going out of her way to help any student here in the school. Whether it be helping out students an hour before school to make sure they pass their math test, listening to a student who needs someone to talk to, or chatting in the hallway with anyone who passes by. PHS is glad to have Mrs. Parsons back!
