Okay, let’s admit it our Palestine-hutsonville sports are on fire this year! Our Volleyball team had a game in Lawrenceville this Tuesday the 6th. And our Cross country team had a meet on the 6th also in Lawrenceville. As I’m gathering stats and information for these sports I’m realizing that we do not hype up our sports like we should! We have some really awesome athletes this year! 

First I want to recognize our Palestine runners on cross country, Bennen and Bowen Ramsey. After speaking with them I found out that Bowen ran a 21 minute and 11 second 3.2 miles. He got 4th place out of approximately 30 kids. Bennen ran a 20 minute 8 second 3.2 miles, which is his best time, and received 2nd place, Bennen says he thinks he got second because he is faster and better than his brother!! 

Next I talk to Abby Hyre, a freshman volleyball player from our Palestine high school. Abby informed me that only varsity won on Tuesday and it was a really close game, 21-25!
