Many teenagers have part-time jobs after school to help pay for things like gas, shopping, and other things. Students at PHS work all over the county, and chances are if you go to a restaurant you’ll see at least one of them. 

After speaking with three students, the general consensus was that most workplaces work with their sports. The most common workplace is Jersey Mike’s, and Alivia Beabout says, “the managers work really well with our schedules.” Four of our students currently work at Jersey Mike’s, but not all of our students work in the food industry.

Shara Coffman works both at Ridgeview Health and Rehab Center as well as Glik’s, She says that she likes being able to help people, whether it be with daily activities or finding the perfect outfit. In the variety of workplaces we have, there’s no doubt you’ll find a Pioneer somewhere. We’re so grateful to have such hardworking Pioneers.
