Opinion: Are Video Games Good For You?

Many parents and guardians have asked the question, are video games good for you? Or, more specifically, their children. I believe that there are pros and cons to video games.

Some of the pros of video games is that it has been proven that video games like first person shooters help improve eyesight and perception. Another pro to video games is that video games can help with problem solving skills, social activities, and teamwork.

One of the cons of video games is that sometimes video games can cause psychological stress. Video games can also become an addiction. Another con of video games is that if you play video games for too long, it can compromise your health, and it may limit social connections.

However, I can also see that video games can be very violent, and some parents may not want their kids playing those types of games. I agree with some of those parents that kids should wait until they’re old enough to play those types of games.

In my opinion I believe that video games can be very good for you but you need to know your limits. You should also try to not play too long, because it could hurt you in the long run.
