OPH Golf Wins Sectionals

The OPH Golf team returned from winning the Sectionals tournament Monday evening, October 4. The team competes October 8 and 9 in the IHSA State Championship. ((submitted))

The OPH golf team participated in the Sectionals golf tournament on Monday, October 4, and got first place with a score of 320.

St. Anthony came in second place with 321, and Vandalia came in third place with 321. The OPH players who participated were Cody York, Grant Kidwell, Jake Smothers, John Littlejohn, Braden Thompson, and Hayden Johnson. They played a hard game, worked hard, and came out with the win.

OPH Golf will travel to Bloomington, Illinois, on Thursday, October 7 to compete in the State Championship Tournament Friday and Saturday. Go OPH!
