Senior Spotlight: Macy Biggs

Editor, Allison Dunlap

Macy Biggs is a very reserved, quirky, and determined senior here at Palestine High School. This year has been going really great for her and it has also been very eventful. Her success is what inspires her to continue to do great things in life.

Her plans after high school include attending Rose Hulman to acquire a degree in chemical engineering or go to University of Evansville to become a physicians assistant. Some of her greatest accomplishments have been winning Jag Day back to back and becoming an Illinois State Scholar. One of the funniest things that has ever happened to her was during freshman year. She was so flustered by everything that she went home and cried about her locker being so unorganized. Macy and her mom ended up coming back to the school to fix it.

One of her greatest strengths is that she doesn’t stop until something is satisfactory to her. Some of the things she looks forward to the most are moving on to new and challenging things. Macy says that she will miss seeing her friends and teachers everyday like she has for so long. Some advice she has for the freshman is to always do your best and it will pay off in the end.
