Being a great athlete on and off the court pays off whether you think it does or not.  This week, we’ve seen being a great athlete pay off for two PHS athletes, Ahlya Abel and Cody York. Ahlya Abel is currently a Pal-Hut Lady Tigers volleyball player, and Cody York is currently on the OPH golf team.

On Monday, September 26th these two athletes were awarded the Above and Beyond award sponsored by Jersey Mike’s. This award is awarded once a week to two athletes that show great sportsmanship in and out of their sport. With the certificate that these athletes receive for this award, they also receive af ree sub from Jersey Mike’s.

Awards like these give our school a great name for having very respectful athletes. Keep up the hard work in and out of sports, Pioneers!!
